Services in the cloud giant opens new data centers in Seoul in response to the demands of Korean customers
Amazon Web Services (AWS) global expansion has slowed, after confirming the opening of other data centers in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) for its Korean customers.
The area of Seoul is the fifth giant cloud services will be opened in the area of Apac, with its customer base in Korea willing to be the main beneficiaries of its opening.
"The Korean-based customers were using the AWS cloud AWS other regions for several years," the company said in a statement.
"With the launch of the Seoul region, developers and companies as well as multinational companies based in Korea with users in Korea can safely store and process their data in AWS latency milliseconds single digits in most of Korea" .

"Our customers and Korean partners have asked us to build an infrastructure of AWS in Korea so they can run more workloads on AWS and approve initiatives that could change your business and the customer experience."
The news comes after several other corporate announcements made recently in the price and availability of their products.
